sculpting a framer template for the next generation of creative agencies
framer design & build

A full-service, modular agency partner wants to reshape their website and sell it as a Framer template to drive new leads and reinforce expertise as a creative agency. After a number of successful collaborations, Tom came to me to design & develop Pop Co-op.
I was hired by Measured Branding to convert their website into a Framer Template that would drive new leads and reinforce the agency’s expertise.
Measured is a new type of creative agency: a fractional freelancer collective, founded by Tom Livingstone. Each project scope is unique and Tom brings together the best freelancers in his network to do great work, without the agency overhead.
These modular freelance collectives are a rising niche in the agency world—and we knew no one else was designing with them in mind. Gen z wants to work with value-aligned people doing real creative work, building community, supporting one another—people who are warm and lighthearted, while serious about their craft and what they stand for.
They also tend to be early stage teams. And that means they don’t have thousands to drop on a new brand and website. We knew this template was an opportunity to make the most of our experience in the field and help build up the folks who’re working alongside us to reshape the creative industry in the face of AI.

I built out a new CMS to showcase agency-wide case studies AND team member portfolios because our target audience exists in a more social and communal environment where individual work is just as important as collective work. Members can continue their independent freelance work while also collaborating on projects under the agency umbrella.
These collectives are full of big personalities, show-stopping talent, and ground-breaking work, so the CMS pages include plenty of cross-links to make it easy to navigate between case studies and team member profiles.
There are sections for fun facts, behind the scenes content, and more. Plus sections are automatically hidden when fields are left empty, ensuring that pages flex to fit each project and team member.

an aesthetic built on design fundamentals
I took primary colors and basic shapes from the kindergarten classroom to the design studio because the creative act is process and play. The brand takes cues from Bauhaus, vintage advertising, and those wooden building blocks in the corner of your daycare. It’s warm, bold, and defies trends in a world of ticky tacky monotony.
I designed the motion language to be bouncy and not-too-serious but kept it restrained by staggering elements to support the flow of content and ensure users aren’t overwhelmed by information.

premium brand assets
Since our target audience includes small teams, ready-to-launch founders, and creatives on a budget, I designed a figma slides deck & social media templates for Pop’s premium tier to help create a cohesive, affordable brand system for customers.
Pop Cooperative is an eccentric & bold template for creative agency founders and early stage teams looking to wow clients with their first website – on a budget. It's young, warm, full of character, & proud to be a little weird, serving the needs of the Gen Z and Millennial creatives who fall outside traditional corporate and agency roles.
