the mission
Create funky and bold brand assets inspired by summers in the Mediterranean for this destination wedding & event planner.
the project
Founder Grace Dressler's summers spent in Greece and Portugal are the inspiration behind the Foret Destination brand. As a boutique destination event planner specializing in luxury elopements, Grace wanted to differentiate Foret from competitors with a funky but chic brand.
Before I started designing, Grace and I spent time diving into her vision for the business, her long term goals, her competitors, and defining exactly how she wants to serve her clients and stand out in a crowded market.
Given the celebretory nature of Foret's work, I got to have a lot of fun with designing the brand, from the playful icons and patterns to a vivid and funky color palette.
Two key points of visual inspiration were the olive groves from Grace's home in Greece and the deeply saturated, bold designs of tinned-fish brands from all over the Mediterranean.
Here's a little BTS video of the mood board behind the Foret brand designs.

I'm designing the Foret website for Grace and building it on Framer.
Here's a sneak peek and easter egg I've hidden on the website.
